Title: Order Entry Procedures in the Zupply System
Introduction:
In the context of the Zupply system, orders can be categorized into two primary channels: online and offline. This document provides guidelines for entering orders offline into the system dashboard. The offline method involves manual data entry by team members, whereas online orders are placed by clients themselves via the ordering portals, including the mobile application (App) and the web portal.
Order Entry Procedure:
To enter an order offline into the Zupply system dashboard, follow these steps:
Step 1: Access the Dashboard
Navigate to the "Orders" section in the dashboard.
Locate and click on "Orders" and then select "New Order" from the top-left corner of the page.
Step 2: Order Information
Enter the Client's Name.
Optionally, input the Purchase Order Number (not mandatory).
Specify the desired Delivery Date for the order.
Step 3: Product Entry Add products to the order using the following steps:
Enter the Quantity of each product.
Select the specific Product from the available options.
Continue to add more products by clicking on "Enter / New Product" or using the keyboard shortcut "enter".
Step 4: Order Finalisation
Complete the order by including any necessary notes and specifying any applicable delivery fees.
Click on "Create Order" to confirm and save the order in the Zupply system.
Course Task:
For the purpose of this course task, you are required to perform the following actions:
Create a new order for each of the ten test clients that were generated during the "Create Client" course using all of the five products available in the system.
Add order comments to each of the ten orders, providing specific instructions or preferences related to the delivery (e.g., "Deliver after 10am").
Apply a delivery fee to two of the orders as needed, ensuring that these fees are accurately reflected in the order details.
By completing these three tasks, you will effectively demonstrate your understanding of the order entry process within the Zupply system.
